I’m a second year undergraduate studying psychology and philosophy (PPL), and an intern at the ReadOxford group. Growing up, I was a massive reader and spent most of my time with my nose in a book. Having lived in several different countries, I also grew up with languages, and am fascinated by how exposure to differently told stories shapes how children learn and develop. In my free time I like to ice skate, write, play football and claim I still read a lot of books.
My favourite word
My favourite word is ‘okay’. It fits in almost any context and is infinitely versatile. Also, it's one of the most widely understood words in the world.
My favourite childhood book
My favourute childhood book was How to Train your Dragon. I loved the absurdity, the humour and the wacky illustrations.
